Every Saturday we run half day clubs for primary aged children at the Garden Gate Project in Margate. Children will explore the garden and be inspired to create delicious whole food picked from the allotment and share with their friends and family.
Our Grow Make Eat children’s club inspire and excite young minds through hands on cooking activities using organic whole ingredients.
Each session the group will be guided to work together to make small dishes and bites that give them ownership and confidence to try at home. Of course they will get to share their creations with their new friends and parents.
All clubs are drop off and include organic dishes that the children prepare and share with friends and family.
Nature, art and craft
Our clubs explore seasonal, nature-based themes that celebrate the world through theatre, the arts and outdoor adventure. We inspire young folk and big people too, with fond memories for your family to cherish.
Whole food adventures
We use tasty whole food to fuel our young folk for adventure. Our clubs give children the chance to grow, harvest and prepare food, so they experience and appreciate good wholesome food.
There's so much to explore in a garden, and whether foraging for food to create a tasty lunch or for nature-based treasures to make a bird seed house, children will embark on an adventure among the plants and trees.
Experienced and professional
Our highly qualified and enthusiastic mentors inspire children to use their imagination to explore and create using the natural world around them. With background in teaching and the arts, we use theatre, craft and song to introduce 'first hand experiences'.
Due to the adverse affects the Coronavirus has had on our ability to prepare and deliver our children’s camps this spring we have postponed our camp season and will return in 2021. Join our community to support our important mission here:
